The Mentor in Residence program aims to assist artists in further developing community arts practices by providing mentorship support in career planning, project development, and developing entrepreneurial skills through virtual consultation sessions with industry professionals during a one-on-one online consultation,
Due to COVID-19, many artists have been forced to cancel and postpone event based presentations and exhibitions, causing many barriers for artists in re-designing showcases and event-based artistic programs. In partnership with North York Arts, Neighbourhood Arts Network are pleased to present a mentor in residence program to support artists and arts organizations with the re-designing and reimagining of artistic work.
Spots are limited to one per person/ collective/ organization as we pilot this project. There may be opportunity to schedule multiple sessions with your mentor, depending on the project/support focus. Please speak to your mentor about this during your consultation. As we pilot this program we are aiming to support as many artists as possible.

Accessibility
We are continuing learning how to make digital communications and meetings more accessible. Currently consultations are offered over Zoom and phone. Please let us know if you require ASL interpretation, note taking or another form of accommodation, and we will try our best to support you!

- We will try our best to accommodate your needs. Please email eva@torontoarts.org with accessibility requests as soon as possible so we can try to make your consultation as comfortable and beneficial as possible.
- Participants are limited to one ticket per event. If you order more than one ticket, all but one will be canceled. Please do not book time slots on someones behalf without notifying us- it's important we can connect with the artist directly to ensure we can provide the necessary support.
- You are strongly encouraged to cancel if you think you will not attend. Not showing up to your session without notice takes the opportunity away from another artist who could benefit from it, and sees valuable programming money spent on an empty seat. Be a good neighbour and be honest!
